Total length approx. 66 cm
The perfect blend of power and efficiency
• Three channels for the Superchannel effect
• Made from Tecralene® for superior performance
• Orthopaedic foot pocket
The orthopaedic foot pocket, with varying thicknesses, offers superior comfort.
The blade is made from Tecralene® and thermoplastic rubber for greater durability.
When water escapes from the sides of the blade, thrust and therefore efficiency decrease.
Mares’ design was inspired by observing marine mammals, such as manatees, in their natural environment.
When swimming, these animals bend their tails to form a channel and optimise thrust.
This means that if effective channelling is achieved, all the water displaced contributes to thrust.
The “Channel Thrust” technology maximises water channelling and moves a much greater volume of water than other fins of similar size.
The resulting advantage is greater propulsive thrust for the same effort.
The latest evolution of Mares’ “Channel Thrust” technology is the new “Superchannel” design, which further increases the already high performance of Mares fins.

Safety warnings
Choose the correct size: a fin that is too tight can cause cramps and one that is too loose can slip off. Do not walk with fins on out of the water (risk of falling). Fins are not a flotation device. Children must use them only under adult supervision.
