Mares Octopus Prestige is a medium-sized regulator equipped with the latest technologies to provide easy, natural and consistent breathing.
The innovative deflector, developed following extensive studies and tests on fluid dynamics, ensures the correct intake and diversion of the airflow from the bypass turbo to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD system, Mares Octopus Prestige allows for natural and effortless breathing.
All Mares second stages feature the exclusive patented VAD system. The bypass tube channels air into the mouthpiece, creating a “vortex” movement with a low-pressure area in the centre that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation.
The exceptional softness and extreme lightness of the new Superflex hose ensure maximum freedom of movement. The soft purge button is easy to use thanks to Mesh-Grid, even when wearing gloves.

Life-support equipment: use only if you hold an appropriate diving certification. Check that it works properly before every dive; have regulators and BCDs serviced at an authorised service centre at the interval indicated by the manufacturer (usually every year). Spare parts must be installed by a qualified technician.
