OMER STAINLESS STEEL SHAFT LINE SEPARATOR
The Omer line separator for Tahitian shafts prevents the monofilament from being cut by the movement of the wishbone. It is installed in the hole at the rear of your Tahitian shaft.

One of the biggest risks after spearing a good-sized fish is that the monofilament will break under the pull of the fish. The point where the nylon leader normally breaks is where it is attached to the shaft or where it comes into contact with the wishbone while loading the rubbers. In fact, the monofilament rubs against the small hole in the shaft and tends to wear easily. To avoid all these risks, this accessory has been designed to fit into the hole in the shaft and, at the other end, allows the monofilament to be attached while keeping it alongside the shaft so that, when loading the rubbers, the wishbone cannot come into contact with it.
