AvailableThe Evasion Cefalo (often marketed as Expert Predator Evasion Cefalo) is a range of fixed telescopic rods designed specifically for sea fishing, with a particular focus on catching mullet.
Main Technical Features
- Material: Made from high-modulus carbon with cross-wound reinforcement, ensuring strength and reliability even in rough sea conditions.
- Action: Features a parabolic or semi-parabolic action, ideal for handling the mullet's sudden runs and protecting fine leaders.
- Common lengths: Mainly available in lengths from 5 metri to 10 metres, the most commonly used for fishing from piers or rocky shores.
- Balance: The design is engineered to be lightweight and well-balanced, reducing arm fatigue during prolonged fishing sessions.
Usage tips
- Use: Excellent for fishing from rocky shores or harbour piers, where the water depth calls for tackle over 6 metres long.
- Leaders: The use of fine leaders (0.10 - 0.12 mm) and light floats from 1 to 2 grams is recommended to maximise sensitivity.

Safety warnings
Carbon rods conduct electricity: do not fish near overhead power lines or during thunderstorms. Before casting, check that no one is nearby. Do not stress the rod beyond the indicated load; a broken blank may have sharp splinters.
