BEAST MASTER 14000 XC REEL

BEAST MASTER 14000 XC SHIMANO REEL

The Beastmaster 14000 is Shimano’s entry-level BigPit reel, aimed at beginners who want to take their carp or surf fishing to the next level, or at those on a tighter budget. With features derived directly from Shimano’s more expensive models, such as Super Slow 5 oscillation and Parallel Body, the Beastmaster is an excellent medium- and long-range casting reel.
With a name like Beastmaster, you can be sure this large, durable reel will meet your expectations. Offering excellent value for money, the Beastmaster is the right choice if you are new to long-range fishing or want a second reel for carp or surf fishing. Although it is not a high-end model, the Beastmaster certainly has an attractive appearance, with the same G Free Body silhouette as Shimano’s flagship reels. Super Slow 5 oscillation and Parallel Body help maximise casting distance, regardless of your experience or ability.
Although the Beastmaster is Shimano’s most affordable reel, it still features plenty of advanced technology. The Super Slow 5 oscillation line lay is still the benchmark against which other reels are judged, and the AR-C spool design has exactly the same profile as that found on Shimano’s best long-range reels. Both these features help increase casting distance. In use, you’ll appreciate the smoothness and power of the HAGANE gear, while the 4,3:1 gear ratio, with a generous 103 cm of line retrieved per handle turn, ensures the Beastmaster is just as good at retrieving quickly as it is at casting. For better performance while fishing, Instant Drag lets you quickly adjust the maximum drag of 20 kg with just one turn of the drag knob, so you always have direct control.
