CATANA 4000 HGFE NEW SHIMANO REEL

CATANA 4000 HGFE NEW SHIMANO REEL

This Catana is the latest version of a Shimano classic. With exceptional value for money, the Catana is a spinning reel for fresh and salt water that can be used for all types of fishing.
If you're looking for a spinning reel at a very affordable price, the Catana is an option you shouldn't overlook. Ideal for a wide range of fishing, from light and medium-sized lures to match and feeder fishing, it has a great understated look and remarkable performance for a reel at this price. Pair the Catana with any low- or mid-priced Shimano rod and you'll have a great combination you'll be proud to own and use.
In use, you'll immediately notice the improved balance provided by Shimano's latest G-Free body design. This body design is found on Shimano's best reels and makes fishing more comfortable over long periods. The smoothness you'll feel comes from a combination of 3 Shimano stainless steel ball bearings plus a roller bearing, ensuring trouble-free performance, even when fighting the biggest fish. Like Shimano's top-of-the-range reels, the aluminium spool has an AR-C design, which, combined with the Varispeed II line-lay system, improves casting distance and accuracy, with both monofilament and braided lines.
